How to Get All Weapons in Hellraiser: Revival

In Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, Aidan Lynch fights cultists and Cenobites using both melee weapons and firearms. Some weapons are obtained automatically during the story, while others must be found in safes or on dead bodies, and the most powerful guns are sold by Zora. In this guide, we'll explain where to find every firearm and melee weapon in the game.

How Weapons Work

Weapons in Hellraiser: Revival are divided into melee weapons and firearms. Melee weapons are further split into bladed and blunt types. Knives, machetes, and cleavers work well against unarmored enemies, while bats and clubs are effective against armor. Almost every melee weapon breaks after a certain number of hits. The exception is the Knife, which does not lose durability and can be used for stealth kills. Other weapons can be repaired with Repair Kits. A Basic Repair Kit restores some durability, while an Advanced Repair Kit fully repairs a weapon and also increases its damage.

There are five types of firearms in the game, and their ammunition can be crafted from materials found while exploring. Collecting all five unlocks an achievement, so it is best not to miss any of them while progressing through the story. Once the campaign is over, you cannot freely explore the world or replay individual chapters. For example, obtaining the Pistol also unlocks the Pistol Ammo recipe, which requires three Scraps and two Gunpowder. Ammunition is usually limited, so it is better to save firearms for tougher enemies and bosses while taking out ordinary cultists with stealth kills whenever possible. Most firearms also have upgrades that are sold by Zora or hidden throughout the world.

The Pistol is obtained during the story while escaping the cult. Continue until you reach the corridor where the lights go out and the metal door becomes locked. Pick up the Flashlight from the table on the right and read the note on the door, which directs you to Room 206. Inside the room, press the button on the wall panel next to the large window, then return to the corridor. The passage will open, and behind the door you will find a dead detective with a metal contraption attached to his head. Take the Pistol from him. You will also unlock the Pistol Ammo crafting recipe. If your inventory is full, make some room and pick the weapon up again.

Shotgun

After escaping through the sewers, Charlotte will begin chasing Aidan again. Continue through the forest until he falls and injures his leg. Once you regain control, inspect the body right next to you. The Shotgun is lying on it. Pick it up before continuing through the ruined chapel toward the graveyard. The Shotgun deals massive damage at close range and is especially useful in boss fights.

SMG

The SMG is hidden inside Bruno's mansion, which you visit while searching for the Statue's Hand. After the fight in the basement, take the elevator to the upper floor and find the study with the writing desk. Opposite the desk is a safe with circular discs, while the flower drawing on the desk serves as a clue. If you have not touched the mechanism yet, rotate the left disc once and the top disc four times. If the discs have already been moved, arrange them so that all four gold sections meet in the center. The safe contains the SMG, an Inventory Capacity Upgrade, and the Marlowe Figurine. The figurine is required for story progression, so take everything from the safe.

Revolver

The Revolver is sold by Zora. It appears in her inventory after your trip to the swamp to retrieve the Statue's Head. Take the Head from the cabin, survive the enemy attack, and make your way back after repairing the bridge with the Crank Handle found below. When you meet Zora again near the gate with the statues, check her shop. The Revolver costs 300 Coins, and its sight is sold separately.

Assault Rifle

The Assault Rifle becomes available after the hunt for Charlotte, once you return to the club and begin hunting Marlowe. At this point, Zora opens her third shop location, where the rifle is sold for 450 Coins. If you want to stock up on ammunition first, you can place the purchased rifle in Storage so it does not take up inventory space. Buying both the Revolver and Assault Rifle costs 750 Coins in total, so it is worth selling spare valuables to Zora beforehand.

Melee Weapons

Melee weapons appear many times throughout the game, so the locations below show where you can first find each type.

  • Knife is sticking out of the body of a man hanging upside down after the Chatterer chase. It never breaks and can be used for stealth kills.
  • Machete is lying under the wash basin in the archive or library.
  • Cleaver is hidden in a bathtub inside the tiled washroom.
  • Skullcrusher is lying on the saw table in the workshop beyond the shrine room and is effective against armor.
  • Baseball Bat can be found in the underground sewers.
  • Sawblade is inside a locked metal cabinet in the basement of the cult compound. Enter the code 9891 to open it. Another Sawblade can be found later on a table behind two large rotating wheels during the hunt for Marlowe.
  • The Nailer is included with the Deluxe Edition.

The game also includes cosmetic weapon skins. The Punisher skin for the Baseball Bat and the Cenobite skin for the Shotgun are included with the Deluxe Edition, while the Labyrinth skin for the Pistol and the Martyr skin for the Sawblade were pre-order bonuses. These only change the appearance of the weapon and do not count as separate weapons.
