This third-person arcade flight game reworks a classic aerial action experience with stereoscopic 3D visuals. 3D After Burner 2 offers difficulty and visual settings, including smoke transparency, as well as recreations of different arcade cabinets, complete with their appearance and ambient sounds.
Completing the game unlocks a special mode that retains the basics of the arcade mode while changing the gameplay. In it, players can manipulate time with a burst ability to make incoming attacks easier to evade and increase the number of targets they can lock on to.
