A two-player board strategy game in which opponents roll dice and race to bear all their checkers off the board. Backgammon Blitz offers standard backgammon rules and variants, with solo play and matches against other players locally or online. Tutorials help newcomers learn the game.
Blitz mode adds an arcade pace to the familiar match with power-ups. Online play includes quick matchmaking, ranking leaderboards and asynchronous games, while voice chat supports communication between players. The game combines traditional backgammon with several ways to play locally and online.
