A word-based role-playing game in which Lex the Bookworm battles monsters by building words from letter tiles. Characters escape from their stories and run wild through the Great Library, leaving Lex to stop the approaching catastrophe. The stronger the word, the more damage it deals to an enemy.
The adventure spans three books—Fractured Fairytales, The Monkey King, and Astounding Planet—with 10 chapters in each. More than 130 foes stand in Lex’s way, while six companions, including Mother Goose, the Cheshire Cat, and the Monkey King, lend a hand in battle. Players can earn more than 20 treasures, including Rainbow Tiles. Alongside the story-driven Adventure mode, the game features Mini-Games, Arena, and an infinite Replay mode, as well as six mini-games that put vocabulary to use.
