Cardinal Quest 2 is a turn-based roguelike set in a world threatened by a mysterious force. After a Minotaur devastates the forests and a Dragon returns to the mountains, heroes set out to fight the enemies and reclaim the lands they have taken. The game features three story campaigns and an endless mode called The Tower.
Combat calls for tactical decisions, while a hero’s death starts a new adventure with randomly generated levels. Players can choose from seven heroes with distinct abilities and fighting styles: the Thief strikes from hiding, the Alchemist crafts potions and firearms, and the Ranger fights alongside a dog companion. Legendary items can also change the course of a run.
