Chasing Styx

This run-and-gun action game with bullet-hell elements follows Cerberus, guardian of the Underworld, after a herd of woodland rabbits wanders into the realm of the dead while he is asleep. Hades orders him to find the animals and take them back across the River Styx. The journey passes through different parts of the Underworld, including a forest shrouded in darkness and a cursed bell tower.

Levels can be tackled in any order and offer several routes through armies of the dead, traps, hidden treasures, and dense waves of bullets. Defeating enemies yields souls that let Cerberus level up and gain attacks and abilities; 18 abilities are available for upgrading the hellhound. The game supports local two-player co-op and includes boss battles, boss rush and survival modes, as well as challenges that unlock dog costumes.
