This puzzle sandbox with simulation elements centers on solving challenges by arranging contraptions and characters that interact with one another. Contraption Maker is described as a spiritual successor to The Incredible Machine by that game’s original designer and programmer.
The game features over 200 official puzzles and more than 1,000 user-created challenges in the Workshop. In the Maker Lab, groups of up to eight players can build contraptions together online. A built-in JavaScript editor lets players create games using Contraption Maker’s physics and parts, and finished contraptions and puzzles can be shared.
