A neo-retro action-strategy puzzle game set in a top-down world, Cubetractor follows Endroi, a robot who fights enemy installations using the ability to attract cubes. The player pulls cubes into position to attack foes, clear obstacles and build turrets. Combat combines elements of reverse tower defense with dodging dense enemy fire, while careful timing and positioning shape each encounter.
Levels call for puzzle-solving, combat and tactical planning at once. The main challenges encourage collecting batteries and reaching the finish within a time limit without taking damage, with less demanding options also available.
