Off-road racing takes place on the planet Proteus in galaxy NGC 43324, where competitors drive powerful open-wheel cars. The 4CPT physics model simulates the chassis, suspension and soft-body tires, affecting weight transfer, understeer and oversteer. Drafting behind rivals recharges a boost that can be used to overtake.
In Career Mode, players progress through six racing series across three cars, competing against AI in seasons of up to ten races. The 19 track layouts span four zones and can each be raced in either direction; 48 separate challenges feature a global leaderboard. Online play includes circuit races and challenges, with players voting on the car and track selections.
