A third-person rhythm game in which the young protagonist U-1 fights enemies with the Gitaroo, a musical instrument turned into a weapon. As he battles his way forward, U-1 grows more confident, and music becomes his means of fighting evil.
Players use the analog stick and controller buttons at the same time to move the character, make him jump or duck, and attack in rhythm. The game features a classic soundtrack and colorful designs by Japanese illustrator 326.
