This real-time massively multiplayer role-playing game is set in Rome around 300 BC, where the Republic faces threats from the Carthaginians, Gauls, Samnites and mythical creatures. Players take the role of heroes descended from the gods and undertake epic quests to protect and expand the Republic’s holdings while serving one of twelve Roman gods.
As a hero progresses, they gain access to divine powers, famous weapons and mythical treasures. Combat calls for preparation as well as action: players recruit and train NPC soldiers, choose their skills, organize them into squads and issue commands. Formations and each squad’s abilities can be used to meet different challenges.
