An arcade action role-playing game and playful tribute to Japanese RPGs, Half-Minute Hero 2 gives the hero 30 seconds to save the world. Quests lead through encounters with people in need and dungeon battles, where the hero earns money and loot and gains levels. The Goddess can reset the timer for a fee, and the game features more than 100 short RPG adventures.
The single-player mode includes persistent character progression and five separate eras of the Half-Minute Hero saga. Other options include multiplayer for four players, Time Attack, and Infinite Battle. A map editor lets players create maps and quests, while an art gallery and music player unlock as the game progresses.
