A horror-tinged adventure shooter styled as a low-budget B-movie follows private detective Pete O’Brannon, who is hired by insurance investigator Sam Miller. He gathers information and evidence of insurance fraud, taking on tasks that Sam cannot pursue through the company’s rules and restrictions. Zombies, Nazis and Nazi zombies feature alongside jokes, pop-culture references and political subtext.
Players explore levels, solve puzzles and fight using firearms and other weapons. Into the Dark can be approached as an adventure, a shooter or a combination of both; its campaign features 11 levels and 67 puzzles.

Einfach unglaublicher Mist. Es scheint ein Spiel über Monster und Satanismus zu sein, aber wenn man es anfängt, wird einem sofort klar, dass dem so ist. Satanische Steuerung, schlechte und gruselige Grafik, unverständliches Leveldesign und nur eine Waffe. Bei Gott, ich wanderte etwa 40 Minuten lang um den ersten Ort herum und verstand immer noch nicht, was sie von mir wollten. Eine Art Monster sprang heraus, das mit kaum mehr als einem Clip getötet wurde, und das ist alles, was zu tun ist und wohin man als nächstes gehen soll – Sie werden es verdammt noch mal verstehen. Ich habe das Spiel für 5-10 Rubel für die Karten gekauft. Und sie kommt ihrer Hauptaufgabe – dem Erschrecken – nicht nach. Zielt eher darauf ab, Sie zum Lachen zu bringen. 3 Punkte für die 3D-Umgebung, sie haben es einfach geschafft.
Просто невероятная хрень. Вроде игра про монстров, сатанинщину, но когда ты ее запускаешь, сразу становится ясно, что это так. Сатанинское управление, убогая и страшная графика, непонятный левел-дизайн и всего один пистолет. Ей богу, я по первой локации бродил минут 40, так и не поняв, что от меня хотят. Выскочила какая-то монстра, которая убивается чуть больше чем с обоймы, и вот все, что делать и куда идти дальше — хрен поймешь. Купил игру за 5-10 рублей ради карточек. А со своей основной задачей — напугать, она вообще не справляется. Скорее нацелена на рассмешить. 3 балла за 3D окружение, просто что то, что его сделали.
I loved playing Into the Dark! The gameplay was thrilling, and the graphics were amazing. 10/10 would recommend!
