Maggie's Apartment is a point-and-click adventure about Maggie Mallowne, who is locked in her one-room apartment and investigates mysterious celebrity conspiracies. To find out what is happening outside and how superstar Randy Rosebud is involved, she talks to her neighbors through the walls.
The game centers on dialogue and interactions with objects, with actions and item combinations accompanied by animations. The story is fully voice acted, and Maggie meets a cast of eccentric residents along the way.
