A turn-based grand strategy game set during World War II, in which the player chooses a nation and seeks victory in a conflict that can unfold differently from history. Each playthrough is shaped by decisions, events and the actions of other powers, and any nation can be played.
Military strength depends on industry, resource production and trade, city infrastructure, and research spanning pre-industrial technologies through the atomic era. The player manages the economy, forms alliances and moves armies, aircraft and fleets across a world map, with forces including infantry, armored units, artillery, ships and other military units.
