A party board game featuring characters from the Mario series, Mario Party 8 has players compete across game boards and take on minigames. It includes six new boards, dozens of minigames and several modes, with controls that use Wii Remote motion and pointer functions.
Minigames include rowing down a river, racing vehicles and navigating obstacle courses. Special power-ups can transform a character into forms such as a boulder that knocks rivals aside or a vampire that steals coins. The game also features larger minigames, including bowling and a tabletop face-off.
