Set in the 1970s, this tactical, squad-based heist game presents its action from a 2D top-down perspective. The player plans robberies and chooses whether to rely on stealth, use force, or combine both approaches. Operations allow commands to be issued in slow motion, guards and civilians to be threatened, disguises and equipment to be used, and bodies to be hidden or electrical systems disabled.
The career mode spans 20 heists, with crew members to recruit and equip between jobs. The aim is to carry out each plan, keep the crew alive, and take as much loot as possible; an alarm can lead to a firefight with the police. The game also includes challenge maps and an editor for creating custom heists.
