This downward-scrolling infinite platformer with roguelike elements revolves around descending into a dangerous pit: survival is impossible, but each attempt can take the protagonist deeper. The landscape is randomly generated, and after death the enemies, surroundings and, if chosen, the protagonist’s body change.
During each descent, the protagonist fights monsters and navigates hazards including spikes and unforgiving gravity. Enemies behave differently: some destroy the floor, while others attack or devour one another. Leveling up lets the protagonist choose abilities from an upgrade tree, including powers for throwing stars or teleporting; death wipes progress.
