This first-person puzzle adventure takes place on the mysterious island of Myst, where the player investigates the surroundings and seeks to uncover an old injustice. Papers, ambient sounds, and other details can provide clues, while solving puzzles gradually brings the protagonist closer to understanding what happened.
The world can be explored freely in 3D, with routes through the island and other worlds known as Ages. Changing weather and day-night cycles affect the environment. A Point & Click mode is also available: the player selects a destination and moves there, with images from the original Myst shown in this mode.
