This tactical role-playing game is set in a fantasy world where demons emerge after a catastrophe brought on by a blinding light. The amnesiac protagonist, Weiss, learns from the enigmatic Eva that he has committed deicide. To atone, he must become a vessel for the power of the deity he killed and help bring it back to life.
Players explore the world, fight enemies in a revamped turn-based battle system, and customise their characters. The story spans several generations, with heroines changing over time; choices about companions and other decisions affect how the story unfolds. Optional activities include bathtub, massage, and shiatsu mini-games.
