Rooks Keep is a fantasy arena action game about a tournament in which factions of knights and beasts fight for dominance. Players battle with melee weapons, using quick and heavy attacks, parries, blocks, dodges, and special abilities.
Modes include Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Last Man Standing, and Conversion, where defeated opponents join the player’s team. Matches can be played solo against AI or online, alongside Classic Chess and Combat Chess, in which an attacked piece can fight to remain on the board. The game also supports third-party chess engines and the creation of custom maps and mods.
