SAS: Zombie Assault 4 is an action shooter with RPG elements about a special forces unit fighting a zombie outbreak on a distant planet. Players choose from three character classes and battle through story-driven levels alone or in teams of up to four. The game also features PvP events, including Last Man Standing.
The campaign spans seven maps with different victory conditions and pits players against 17 types of zombies, which can evolve and gain new abilities. Assault, Medic, and Heavy Gunner each have a distinct skill tree, while weapons and armor can be selected and upgraded. The arsenal includes several kinds of firearms, auto-turrets, grenades, and special ammunition; armor offers protection against physical, thermal, and chemical attacks.
