This point-and-click adventure sends the hero, known as the Seed of Prophecy, into the depths of a living castle to confront the evil Warlock Lord. Shadowgate reimagines the original game with new rooms, objects, and puzzles that build on its design.
Exploration takes place from a first-person perspective as the player searches rooms, uses items from the inventory, and solves puzzles. The game offers four difficulty levels and several control options: a modern wheel-based command system, classic on-screen commands, or a mode that hides the interface. Retro graphics, music, text boxes, and room transitions can also be enabled.
