Starship Theory

This space survival simulation centers on building a ship and managing four survivors stranded in unknown space. The player plans the vessel’s layout, constructs upgrades, researches technology, and maintains its complex systems, oxygen supply, and cleanliness. Releasing oxygen can extinguish fires.

The crew gathers resources by breaking apart asteroids, trading with neutral ships, and salvaging minerals from wrecks. Encounters with opponents can involve threats or bribes. Crew members can be trained in agility, endurance, intelligence, engineering, and combat, while their food, rest, and morale must be managed. In combat, the player targets specific components on hostile ships and unlocks weapons while controlling heat; asteroid collisions and heat from passing stars pose additional hazards, and a warp jump can provide an escape.
