A medieval castle-building strategy game set ten years after the events of the original Stronghold. The Wolf, having survived a near-fatal ordeal, returns to take revenge and spreads panic by raiding towns and villages. The player must oppose him alongside allies and defend medieval England.
Stronghold 3 lets players build and manage castles, develop a village, and follow either a combat or an economic campaign. Sieges use physics and can take place at night. Online modes let players attack other players’ castles or defend their own, as well as assault and protect historically recreated castles.
