This Could Hurt is an adventure game about an Oakguard apprentice who must complete the Path of Pain before becoming a protector of the Great Oak, the tree that gives life and power to the village. The player guides the apprentice through 3D mazes filled with traps, reaching each level’s end by climbing, running, jumping and sometimes flying.
One-touch controls let the player choose when the character moves and when to stop, helping avoid spinning blades, pitfalls and giant mallets. The game has four worlds with ten levels each, and the hazards change along with the environments: the Ice World is slippery, while the Lava World can burn the character. Hidden golden acorns unlock power-ups such as shields, health refills and speed boosts.
