TransOcean 2: Rivals

This business simulation follows the growth of a shipping company competing for contracts and building an international enterprise. In TransOcean 2: Rivals, the player can start with a small fleet in one of 60 ports, take on shipping jobs and account for factors such as oil prices and rival companies. Earnings can fund fleet expansion and subsidiaries, while tankers, container ships and bulk carriers offer different ways to develop the business.

Single-player options include a campaign, an endless mode and a competition mode, alongside competitive multiplayer. In the campaign, the collapse of the protagonist’s shipping empire and the imprisonment of an old friend draw them back into the industry to help him and oppose a rival. Some sequences put the player in direct control of ships, navigating them through a harbor without damage when tugboats are on strike.
