This business simulation follows the development of a maritime shipping company, with a fleet of merchant vessels carrying cargo between ports around the world. The player selects a home harbor, takes on contracts and plans routes around each ship’s capabilities, port access and potential hazards such as storms and piracy. Ships can be controlled as they enter and leave harbors, while delays and cargo loading affect the efficiency of deliveries.
The game features 55 harbors and 20 ship classes. A trading system with dynamic prices rewards careful route selection and management of costs and profits; smuggling can earn money but puts the company’s reputation at risk. Greater success brings access to better contracts. In online mode, players compete for routes and prices.
