This turn-based strategy game, designed in the spirit of a board game, covers wars and conflicts from prehistoric times to the present day. Wars Across The World includes historical scenarios, from the First Punic War to World War II, as well as settings based on alternate history, fantasy and science fiction. Scenarios share a single rules system, so the core mechanics remain familiar when moving between conflicts.
Players take turns commanding opposing sides, which may include more than one nation. The map is divided into regions with different terrain types and may feature ports, fortresses and airports; some regions can also provide income. Each scenario has its own conditions and particular details.
