Versus offers single matches against computer-controlled opponents or other players, while Tournament challenges players to earn the entry fee for the Slam City tournament by betting on a series of games. Players can pass, fake, shoot and knock opponents down. Energy can be spent to increase speed, and having more energy improves the chance of performing a long-distance slam dunk.
