This medieval strategy game follows barons competing for the throne of France. To expand their lands and strengthen their rule, players scout neighboring territories, defeat local militias, build castles, provide for the population, and form diplomatic alliances. Trade and trained armies help develop the kingdom, while decisions also affect relations with the church and other rulers.
Castles can be designed from scratch using information about their construction and sieges, or selected from ten historical fortresses. More than 40 branching events present new challenges, and four progressive levels let players manage different aspects of the kingdom.
