An indie fighting game set in a world where warring civilizations wield the powers of fire, water, air, and earth. Players choose a fighter and use abilities tied to the elements and animal movement. Versus mode features one-on-one and two-on-two matches, as well as free-for-alls; up to four players can compete locally or online.
Story Mode reveals each fighter’s backstory and the mysteries of Aether, while Abyss Mode challenges players to defeat waves of shadowy opponents. Other options include a tetherball sports mode, ranked online matches, and dedicated tutorial and practice modes. Practice Mode provides frame data and hitbox visualizations.
