This wrestling sports fighting game centers on WWE superstars competing in the ring. Its story mode offers multiple character paths, and players can enter wrestlers into a WWE draft pool. Matches take place in PPV arenas such as Backlash, Vengeance, and Unforgiven, as well as backstage areas modeled after Madison Square Garden.
The roster includes Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Stacy Keibler, DDP, Ric Flair, and the nWo. The wrestler creation mode adds a dynamic layer system and new customization options, while the animations feature signature moves and double- and triple-team attacks.
