Slasher
Das Genre der Videospiele „Slasher“ stellt die Vernichtung von Feinden mit Hilfe von Stich- und Schneidwaffen in den Vordergrund. In der Regel handelt es sich um Spiele für den Einzel- oder Koop-Modus, in denen die Hauptfiguren große Gruppen verschiedener Feinde besiegen müssen, die meist Monster sind. Es ist ein verwandtes Genre zu „Besiege sie alle“, bei dem das Prinzip dasselbe bleibt, jedoch anstelle von Waffen Fäuste verwendet werden.
